About me

My name is Muhammed Ijas.

By education, I am a mechanical engineer.

By choice, I am a digital marketer.

My career did not start with a clear plan. It started with curiosity.

At some point during college, I searched a very simple question on Google:

“How to make money online.”

That search changed everything.

How digital marketing entered my life

What started as curiosity slowly turned into interest.

I began learning on my own and started freelancing.

Initially, it was basic work like:

  • video editing
  • running ads on Meta and Google
  • helping small businesses with online visibility

It was not perfect work. But it was real.

With the money I saved from freelancing, I started experimenting on my own.

Learning by building and failing

I entered eCommerce not through theory, but through action.

I started with dropshipping in the USA, sourcing products from China using platforms like AliExpress.

Later, I worked with local Indian eCommerce businesses as well.

Some things worked.

Many things did not.

But those experiences taught me something important.

Marketing only makes sense when you understand how money actually moves.

Not just clicks.

Not just traffic.

But real outcomes.

From part-time to Dubai

While I was still in college, I worked as a part-time paid media specialist for an eCommerce Company in UAE

The company I was working with noticed my work and the way I approached performance.

After graduation, they offered me a full-time role in Dubai.

That opportunity brought me to the UAE and marked the beginning of the next phase of my career.

Growing into performance marketing

Since then, I have worked across:

  • eCommerce businesses
  • lead generation for service-based companies
  • paid media on Google and Meta
  • performance-focused growth systems

Over time, my focus shifted from just running ads to understanding:

  • how markets behave
  • how intent changes
  • how systems connect ads, content, CRM, and sales

As technology evolved, so did my approach.

AI, automation, and data-driven decision making are now a core part of how modern marketing works. Learning and adapting to these changes has become part of my everyday work.

Why Digital Striver exists

Digital Striver is not an agency website.

It is not a course.

It is not a promise of shortcuts.

It is a space where I document:

  • how marketing is evolving
  • what I observe working in real-world scenarios
  • how AI is changing search, ads, and decision making
  • and how performance marketing is moving beyond tactics into systems

This platform exists for people who want clarity, not noise.

Who this is for

Digital Striver is for:

  • marketers who want to think beyond tools
  • founders who want to understand how marketing actually works
  • anyone curious about the future of AI and performance marketing

If you are here to learn, observe, and think deeply about marketing, you are in the right place.

My journey did not follow a straight line.

But every step taught me something valuable.

Digital Striver is where I share those lessons as marketing continues to evolve.

This is how modern marketing works.
